I am honored to announce my inclusion in the fall edition of the prestigious American Painting Video Magazine. This addition also contains interviews and demonstrations by John deMartin, Julio Reyes, John Morra and others.
APVM is the creation of artist Michael Klein, who curates the work of contemporary realist artists in video format. Past issues have included artists such has Jacob Collins, Antonio Lopez Garcia and Daniel Sprick.
APVM has quickly become one of my favorite resources for learning about and viewing the work of contemporary masters. Enjoy!

April 2012 is the opening of my exhibition of newest paintings at Artists’ House Gallery.

Here is a write up from the gallery regarding the exhibition:

APRIL EXHIBIT SCHEDULE:
April 4 to 29, 2012

First Friday: April 6, 5 to 8:30 PM
Sunday Reception: April 15, 1 to 4 PM

The gallery will be closed on

Easter Sunday, April 8

We are delighted to welcome back Lauren Tilden whose newest body of work will be on exhibit at Artists’ House Gallery from April 4 to April 29.

Please join us on First Friday, April 6, and again for our Sunday reception on April 15.

LAUREN TILDEN’s Wyeth-esque palette is most effective in her exploration of the tension between the corporeal and the spiritual, and allows for her continuing appraisal of the narratives surrounding man’s relationship to God.

Lauren’s emphasis on the depiction of light creates an illusion of three-dimensional form, and illustrates the ongoing dynamic between devastation and the possibility of renewal.

Please join us for Lauren’s 2012 exhibit

March 2011 is an exciting time to open my exhibition at Artists’ House Gallery. The exhibition consists of figure and landscape paintings selected from my most recent body of work. These figurative pieces were inspired in part by my observation of the deep spiritual and emotional significance underpinning our basic human relationships.

I am pleased that my work was featured in the March 2011 edition of The Artist’s Magazine. The eight page article included reproductions selected from my work as well as a step-by-step demonstration of a painting in progress.
